![]() Genuine factory OEM Toyota hardtops for your 2000-2006 MR2 Spyder These are used OEM hard tops, imported from overseas. I found no negative with this combo, except the spedo being slightly off, which doesnt bother me in the least.ītw, i also run SSR-C FRont -15圆.5, 205-50-15, Rear 15x7 245/50/15 hoosier RSO3's (i bought them from, the only guy who ever ran that much tire as i understand). MR2 Spyder Hardtop OEM Toyota MR2 Spyder Hardtop MR2hardtop - 3,750.00 : FullSpeedTech. I understand TMK duplicated this setup, loved it, and later changed the rears to 40 series and was not pleased (pm him or search). Way less sqirley than stock, a rake that really plants the front, and gives great crisp turnin. Lastly, the combo it sits on now really feels ballanced and perfect. There is also the benifit of gear reduction/greater load, which turbos favor and works great for me. ![]() ABS is working fine, break pedal effort is up just slightly, but that is just the 17's talking, but stopping distance is awsome and improved (IMO). Yes, the spedo would read slightly low but otherwise no problems. Rear: their are pleanty of sizes to run, i went with the 215/45/17 as i had them. i tried 215/45/17 (upfront) and they rubbed badly- no fixing it (both on 40 offset). ![]() Actual appearance may be different.Click to expand.I have a few posts on this topic you can search for, but basically:įront: 205/40/17 seems perfect (with a little dremmel action it is flawless). These photos are purported to be Rogue Brackets, but I am awaiting images from Rogue directly. Exact cost will be my expenses split equally between buyers) I have calculated a slight additional margin to account for any changes. Total Cost for US buyers will be approximately $xxx.xx US Dollars, this includes USPS shipping to individual buyers (This may vary due to exchange rates, shipping costs, etc.If Approved, This will be a one time GB, 10 sets is the minimum for me to take the time to organize, additional sets may reduce costs to all buyers.Requests will be sent after I have received the shipment from the UK Payments will be made to me, directly, in US dollars via PayPal.Based on Rogue's inventory and approximate manufacturing and shipping times, US buyer delivery date should be no later than March 1st 2016, this date may change. If there is enough interest I will order them sooner. January 15th 2016 is my target order date.Use with factory soft top and/or factory seatbelt bar is Not Recommended by Rogue or myself.Rogue advises "Please note you are unable to use the soft top with these, as they were designed for racecar use".You will be responsible for sourcing your own bolts. ![]() They will be raw, uncoated and may have unfinished edges. These are produced by Rogue Motorsports LTD.After purchasing them, there is only 1 hole I do not know why this is a concern as 1 bolt into the windshield frame surely has more holding power than the 3 bolts into the fiberglass hardtop on the other end of the bracket. I know there is some question about 1 or 2 holes in the Front Bracket where it bolts to the windshield frame, I was told there will be 2 holes, but the pictures I have seen only show 1 hole, awaiting images from Rogue directly to confirm. The cost to US buyers would be $150 US dollars, this includes stateside shipping and insurance. Payments will be made to me directly, after they are in my possession.īased on the information they provided, I have calculated the costs for importing, repackaging and redistributing them. I would be purchasing them outright and reselling them to those who are interested, if only to avoid the disappointment of an unfunded group buy. There seems to be interest, but no one has followed through with a group buy or US production of a similar product. Based on the interest shown in this thread, I asked for pricing on 10 sets. I have contacted Rogue about purchasing a set of their Hardtop Mounting Brackets for my personal project. celicajonz has not contacted me about the 2nd set and it is now for sale in the classifieds. Due to lack of interest, I have purchased 2 sets and had them delivered to the states.
